MGE has begun an exciting relationship with Southern California Edison to underground electrical facilities and restore existing electrical systems after the recent fires in Malibu.

MGE plays an essential role in keeping California’s electrical infrastructure reliable by maintaining existing systems and connecting new buildings to the grid.

MGE is a top contractor in PG&E's 10,000 Mile Undergrounding Program, undergrounding over 100 miles over a 2 1/2 year period.

MGE has been partnering with International Line Builders (ILB) to relocate electrical infrastructure as part of California's ambitious High Speed Rail project since 2018.
