The scope of this project included the replacement of existing sewer systems on Palm Street, Grove Street, and Grand Avenue. The project involved the abandonment and removal of all facilities associated with the existing sewer system as well as the installation of 3,300-feet of 15 and 8-inch diameter pipe and 13 manholes, while trying all existing sewer laterals. A bypass pumping system was developed and maintained throughout the project to handle existing flows during construction.
