At MGE Underground, safety is more than a priority; it's a value. Preventing accidents is not just good business but our moral obligation.

We believe our responsibility for the health and safety of our employees goes far beyond simple compliance with the federal and state regulatory requirements, so we established a Behavioral Based Safety Program that includes a formalized system of reporting. We recognize accident prevention is everyone's responsibility - and that responsibility is shared at every level of our organization. We train our managers, supervisors and employees to identify and correct unsafe conditions and practices. Everyone has the authority to stop unsafe work.

Safety is not something we do in addition to our work. It's how we do our work. Accidents are most often preventable and should be rare events. To this effect our goal continues to be an impressive track record of ZERO ACCIDENTS.
